Employee Spotlight: Larissa Silva dos Santos

Today, we’re excited to introduce Larissa Silva dos Santos, who joined us as a Business Development and Marketing Intern during our summer internship program. Her enthusiasm, curiosity, and commitment to SolBid’s mission helped strengthen our outreach and business development efforts in meaningful ways.

Meet Larissa

Larissa played a key role in supporting SolBid’s marketing and business development initiatives throughout the summer. Her work focused on expanding SolBid’s network of renewable energy partners and contributing to outreach efforts that support clean-energy adoption across new markets.

Background & Experience

Originally from Brazil, Larissa holds a Bachelor of Arts in English Language and previously worked as an English teacher before entering the clean-technology space. Her strong communication background and analytical mindset made her an invaluable asset to the marketing team.

Larissa first learned about SolBid through MassCEC, an organization that connects students and professionals with clean-energy opportunities across Massachusetts.

What Makes the Experience Special

Larissa said that what she enjoyed most about SolBid was working in a collaborative environment and having the chance to learn more about the solar industry through hands-on experience.

Mission-Driven Contributions

Throughout her internship, Larissa helped collect and organize data to support SolBid’s outreach and engagement strategies, strengthening the company’s ability to connect with partners in the renewable energy space.

Highlight Project

Her favorite project involved researching utilities companies in France, where she explored international trends in renewable energy and gathered data to support future market research.

Maintaining Balance

Larissa believes in maintaining work-life balance by setting clear boundaries, staying organized, and making time for activities she enjoys outside of work.

Outside of Work

When she’s not working, Larissa enjoys spending time with family and friends and reading. Her thoughtful and calm demeanor brought a positive energy to the team throughout the summer.

Her personal motto — “Small steps every day lead to big changes” — reflects the same persistence and optimism she brought to her internship at SolBid.
