SolBid, Inc. is composed of hard-working individuals, each with their own unique story. Today, we are putting the Spotlight on Rebecca Toomey, Marketing Intern here at SolBid.

Rebecca is a junior at Hamilton College in Clinton, New York, majoring in Environmental Studies and Public Policy. At Hamilton, Rebecca is the captain of the Womens Rugby Team and is involved with multiple sustainability and climate justice organizations. She was drawn to SolBid because she is interested in action-based approaches to combating the climate crisis, such as renewable energy spaces. Rebecca chose to intern at SolBid because she wanted to work in a team environment with an emphasis on communication and collaboration. During the summer, she will be focusing on content and digital marketing, social media, and writing solar news highlights.

Outside of work and school, Rebecca enjoys skiing, going to the beach, listening to music, and spending time with family and friends. Her favorite quote, said by Maya Angelou is: If you dont like something, change it. If you cant change it, change your attitude.
