Walt Disney World Will Be Powered Up To 40 Percent From Solar Energy
Walt Disney is well-known worldwide as a strong supporter of sustainability and solar energy. The company announced new plans to build two new 75-megawatt solar projects in Polk and Gilchrist counties in Florida on April 4th, 2022. The project, which will cover 1,000 acres, is expected to produce power as soon as 2023.

According to new research from Ember, wind and solar generated 10% of global electricity for the first time in 2021, and clean sources generated 38% of global energy, marking a significant milestone for the renewable and clean energy sectors.
